We are still trying to get to Red Bank before the end of the season. I know Irwins is within easier walking distance to town, but it sits right behind a huge brick hospital. Molly Pitcher is a little further up the Navesink but sitting on the boat would offer much more scenic views. Both have floating docks and both will cost the same for two nights. Recommendations and/or opinions?

Molly Pitcher is right in town as well. We stayed there a few years back and enjoyed it allot. It looks like a much nicer marina compared to Irwins IMO. I believe Mickey the dockmaster is there and very helpful.

MP was always our favorite. The walk to town isn't bad at all but if that is a concern then perhaps Irwin's is for you.

We are walkers, so the additional distance from Molly Pitchers to the center of town is not really a concern. We had pretty much decided that we would stay at MP simply because we didn't want to be in the shadow of the hospital at Irwins. Thanks guys for the convincing recommendations.

We use Irwins because MP does not allow dogs.
