The Fast Trac is their version of a stepped hull. I think Rommer had one. My 2001 246x pocket cruise was a solid traditional hull. The finish was top notch. The hull to deck joinery was a POS. Easily fixed, but it never should have made it out of QA. Overall, I was very impressed with the boat's performance. It did what I needed it to do at ~5-6GPH at cruise.
