Regals in Dubai

I've got a 2000 Commodore 2660 w/ two Volvo 4.3's which I love to enjoy. I am being assigned to Dubai (U.A.E.) which will probably last at least 3-5 years. Am seriously considering shipping the boat to Dubai to enjoy on the weekends. Any thoughts, concerns, criticisms on the matter. Shipping? Servicing locally? Any present or past experienes would be greatly appreciated. (Currently in Miami).

Financially, if you can do it--go for it. My biggest concern, as I have one also, is the limited fuel capacity. Service shouldn't be a problem, as Volvo is worldwide.
I don't know how the boating market there is, but you might consider either buying over there and selling it when you leave, or shipping your boat and selling it when you leave; OR buying over there and shipping it back here when you leave. You'll have to crunch the numbers all-the-while keeping the passion factored into the equasion. Keep us posted please.
