Looking for East Conta Costa County (or anyone!) to participate and or donate for a great cause. It's likely we have all been touched by a cancer related illness or death. The website makes it easy to join a group (Our's is the Bethel Island Beach Club) or just donate from afar.

Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate
survivorship and raise money to help the American Cancer Society save lives,
help those who have been touched by cancer, and empower individuals to fight
back against this disease. During the event, teams of people gather at
schools, fairgrounds, or parks and take turns walking or running laps. Each
team keeps at least one team member on the track at all times.
Last year 4,600 Relays in communities across the country raised $350,000,000
to support the Society's efforts in cancer research, education, advocacy and
