Remember my pushy neighbor

Kinda sounds like my neighbor. Pulpit of their boat hung over onto our property. It wasn't in the way, just annoying that they never even acknowledged it. They also have had their house up for sale (several times) and never sold it. Now the latest "for sale" sign is down but who knows if it's sold.............they change their mind like the weather!
 
I'd make a call to the DAV, Amvets, American Legion, VFW and such about the flag. Get them old Patriots to pickett his house
 
OK, I thought with was a street issue. Either way, you can't win. Now if you just want to pi$$ him off, you do this...

Next time he uses his boat, be at the ready to move your boat down and over the property line the other way. Now he has to deal with the same thing. But again, you can't win. It's only a temporary "win". Just remember this quote "Whomever angers you owns you". I'm no philosopher, but it seems he owns you in this case.
 
Just tell him you're going to be spraying insecticide and you don't want to get his paint damaged by accident? As it's on your property he will have to accept the consequences?
 
You are allowed to trim tree limbs that extend over your property. I wonder if that applies to bowsprits. :D

The calm zen way is always best smile and the world smile on you. However theres nothing wrong with smiling while tossing random sardines to the birds.. Just dont hate.
 
Have you tried telling him to get his boat away from your property before something terrible happens to it?

Hey delan, I checked out that myspace page, and all I can say is WOW. Are you looking for a good bartender? That is a pretty nice crowd you have there. Where exactly is it in Miami?

Hang in there until it sells.... You don't want bad Karma coming back to you with the next neighbor so hang tight.

It’s always easy for people to advise what to do with a bad neighbor but when you have to live next to someone and they are not moving take some time to think about how bad it could get before you do something to make it worse. In your case he could make trouble after he leaves.

Thanks King, the myspace link got deleted soon after I posted it, but It's Martini Bar In South Miami, inside the Sunset Place Mall. I'm usually there Wednesday nights from about midnight on, please stop by and say hi, I'll buy you a drink.
