Removing mildew stains on fabric/cloth headliner

I put a post on the detailing forum but does not look like anyone posts there these days.

Trying to clean the dark mildew spots off my gray cloth/fabric headliner. Most mildew cleaners are spray bleach which will damage the headliner fabric. What can I use?

Try vinegar. The boat will smell like a salad but mildew s/b gone.
