I have a VP290 DP outdrive painted with Trilux and I notice some bare patches which I need some advice to repair.
I was going to etch the bare metal with West system #860 then use Tempo zinc chromate then prime with Primocon then paint with Trilux. If their is any small corrosion holes I will fix with JB weld epoxy after the etch.
or
I could have the whole drive cleaned down to bare metal then etch with #860 or Vinylux then fix holes then either use Interprotect 2000 epoxy or Promocon then finally Trilux.
I could sure use some suggestions here.
