The other day I noticed leaking from my hot water tank pressure relief valve after a run. I have replaced it previously so I wonder why they fail so quickly on a boat?? I use engine heat for the tank and it does not leak once the engine cools down. I wonder if the high temp is the problem?? There doesn't seem to be an excess of pressure in the lines just very hot water from the 170 or so engine heat but that is nowhere near the 210F valve rating.
