If you are trying to replace your outdated TV in your 1997 330 Sundancer, and cannot find one to fit, here is a great solution.

HhGregg Sells a 19" Curtis TV that works well. It has a side mounted DVD player, and the guts of the TV fits in the hole, with the outer frame of the TV overlapping the opening a little.

The problem is that the old TV/VCR was vertical, and the new TVs are wide. ;ie, the required cutouts don't match.

I removed the old the TV and swivel it was mounted on. This left a tall cutout. I purchased a swivel mount for the new flat screen, and attached it inside of the cuttout, on the right side.

This allows the TV to be pulled out, and turned as needed.

Now that leaves an opening below the TV.

I purchased some matching Vinyl, and with some plywood, created a divider and mounted it just under the TV. This gives the illusion that there is actually two separate cutouts, and it gives the TV a little support when stowed.

Next, using the same vinyl and plywood, I cutout a little door and mounted it to create little glove box, to store keys, wallets, DVDs etc.

Problem solved, and got a little extra storage in the process.

The door looks a little uneven in the picture, but I think it's just the lighting.

Easy and Fun project.

Great job.....looks professional.....

I did something very similar when I had my 370DA.........I used a piece of starboard and made a open storage compartment under the TV

removed old TV........
