Require assistance re Raritan PHE 11

I require your assistance regarding my PHE 11, the unit is connected to a Jabsco Mascerator 18590 which is in turn connected to a Shurflo 2088-414-634 raw water pump. When the unit is flushed the Jabsco does what is required however the Shurflo continues to fill the bowl till overflow and I have to turn off the raw water pump manually to stop the overflow. What causes the problem?

Appreciate the assistance!
 
Are you sure there is a water pump hooked up to the toilet? The pump on the toilet should draw it in.

You've got some kind of kludged-together system. As Bill said, the PHEII has an electric motor and gearbox that pump the manual pump up and down. If it has a Jabsco macerator and a Shurflow supply water pump connected to it, then it isn't a PHEII any longer; it's some sort of jerry-rigged homemade system. Maybe if you can send some digital photos of the system, one of us can figure it out. But based on your description, I haven't a clue as to what is going on with it.
 
Thank you for your prompt reply ----- after reviewing data furnished its apparent that the information supplied by the boat manufacture in their owners manual is incorrect and the head is definetly not a PHE 11 --- further research on my part is necessary. Again thank you for the feed back and I will get some pixs this weekend.

I have identified the head system its a Jabsco #37045 ---- hopefully this will help solve the issue. looking forward to your assistance.

The manaual talks about a "water control solenoid valve". I'm not sure how to test that but I would start there.

Sounds like your problem is part #27 on page #5. Looks like a simple solenoid. If it's working I would guess you should hear a click when power is put to it. Meter it and see if voltage is getting to it.
 
I'm guessing that the ShurFlow pump is the pump to pressurize the water system for shower, sink and supply water to the head. The head should have an electric solenoid valve in the supply water line, that opens and closes when you flush the head, to provide rinse water to the head. These solenoid valves, over time, tend to leak water through them, even when in the "off" position. Minerals that are dissolved in the water, drill shavings from inside your tank, and all sorts of things can build up inside the valve and cause it to leak.

First thing to do is locate it, then turn off the water to it, remove it, disassemble it and clean it out. Put it back together and try it. If it still leaks water through it, replace it.
