Rideau Waterway

We're planning a trip this summer along the Rideau from Kingston to Ottawa.

I know many of the locks have power available but does "the wall" on the topside of the locks in Ottawa have power?

I read one account that seemed to indicate that power was available to boaters on the wall but I haven't been able to confirm that.

Any first hand info?

We cruised the Rideau once before about 8 years ago so it's time for a return visit, this time with my brother and his family who just purchased a new Crownline last summer.

We travel the Trent every summer but I find the Rideau more interesting with a lot to offer.
