Anyone have any hints or recommendations for Rowe's Wharf? Some boats in our marina are leaving Friday morning for this first time destination!

Has anyone stayed there? Any advice, please?

Dinner inthe North End is a 'GIVEN'!

thank you!

Last year we stayed at Boston Yacht Haven. I would recommend it. Walk to North End. Walk to Faneuil Hall.

We have tied up several times at Boston Yacht Haven just for the day. The Aquarium, North End, Fanueil Hall are within a short walk from there. Never stayed overnight. Rowes, Boston Waterboat Marina (Marriot) or Yacht Haven all can get a little rough if there is a lot of boat traffic. Rowes and Waterboat have ferries and commuter boats which dock at the piers. If you do go to Rowes, the owner of the Redsox keeps his Feadship there, "Iroquois".

I like the Yacht Haven much better. The docks rock all the time at Rowe's Wharf. Yacht Haven is less rocking especially within their front enclosure or in the back basin. Late at night the rocking calms down. It can also get very hot there if there is a heat wave in Boston and no sea breeze. Both places as well as the Boston Waterboat Marina are within walking distance of each other.

I recommend the Living Room for dining. Its at the Mercantile Building. They have outside seating also.
