Don't use stuart!! We had a very bad experience with them. It took three tries for them to get our shafts straight and others have had the same issue. I will never use them again.
 
At this point I do not think I would use a shop that did not return a report of the work done. Every prop scan shop I used up North gave us a print out for each propellor.

I didn't think there was a Prop Scan shop that didn't give you a report.
 
Two marinas have told us the shops they used were, and we have yet to receive a report down here. I'm really fed up with the shops in Florida. It's time for me to start bangin' them off myself again. PITA.
 
Don't like Frank & Jimmies they screwed me on a propellor. Stuart is ok but expensive.
Lauderdale prop is supposed to be ok.
The best one I know is out of state, Accu propellor who is very active on boatdiesel forum.
 
Try calling Deep Blue Yacht Supply. -954-444-6259. I haven't used them for prop work, but found them excellent to do business with with on other running gear and below-the-water-line stuff.

Dan, ... always with the propellors you! Treat them with a little more respect will ya?!
 
We've been fine since Jersey George! Actually the reason we were into Stuart was because the layup we had at Indiantown bent the shafts. Not once did the belts on the lift touch the shafts. The keel protects them. We all surmise soft ground did the boat in. So we pulled them had them fixed, and went back into the water. They still wobbled like drunks. It took two more passes in and out of the water before they were acceptable. Indiantown to their credit ate the expense of all the extra work.
Subsequently, the shafts leaked because Indiantown did not polish them before putting them back in and the instructions that I gave to them were in writing from the manufacturer and very clear.
Also subsequently, Indiantown used a lever a mile long to tighten the shaft nuts and it cost extra work to have them removed for a tuneup.

PITA. So far so good this year (knock knock).
