Looking for a good marina on Sacandaga Lake, for my 26' cruiser. Coming from Albany, so south is prefered, any recomendations?

Try Gordon's Marina (full service, mostly bigger boats), Grandview Marina (good family place), Cranberry Cove (full service), or Wally World (extreme low budget operation, keep everything locked up). All are in Mayfield on the south side of the lake.

thanks Jim, I checked out cranberry and millers, both seem nice. cranberry looks like it would always be rough by the way its so open, miller's is definetely more protected, but they have a wait list,so we may or may not get a spot.

There's a marina up by the sport island pub. They wrench my buddies boat there, they have deep water, fuel and a ship's store. Fairly protected as well. Can't remember the name of it, though. Google to the rescue! Or Yahoo yellow pages. Good luck!

That would be Northhampton marina. Lots of wind and waves and on the northern end of lake. Millers does have a waiting list but this may be the year many people get out so I would get on it. Holly's marina is also worth trying.

Jim,
We got in at Miller's, looks like a great place, they say they could handle a 32' in there, have you seen any that size in their cove? Looks like it could get tight in there, but the waters so low its tough to tell. Also are there any regs. on bottom paint like Lake George? Thanks
Bob
