You would think someone that age would know better than to do something so stupid.

Crazy... How does the insurance handle Arson when it is an employee..?

It does not make a difference unless he was paid to do it.

I hope he has business interruption insurance, if he does and he uses last years numbers he may have a very, very good year. When the dust settles he will have a new building and get paid in a depressed market as if it was last year..... It may and I hope work to his advantage.......

Realy sucks.....

My father - in - law said years ago they used to be in rockaway... ( kidds )

They have 2 other locations....... one in Massapequa and one in Freeport. Hopefully he'll servive.

Walter....... is that the same Alfredo Bartos that I met at your house last year ????.... :) :) :) :)

Don,

I thought that was the guy that delivered you glue when I was at your house last year. I was with your wife checking out the plumbing at the time. You must of noticed when you came home that the plumbing was much more free flowing.

Walter

Dennis's father started the business on Sunrise Hwy in Massapequa and Dennis has grown it since to three locations. Never easy for them, but a great guy with great staff, except for this guy who apparently did it. Nice to see this type of reaction from the boating community. That's what makes us special and Dennis is a big part of boating on the south shore.

Walter brings up a good point about this possibly working out to his benefit.

Oooh..... Be nice...

The people that know the owners of Kydds have nothing but good to say, including some members of my YC who have done business with them.

I still want to know if they call a disgruntled post office worker that goes nuts “Going Postal” What would we call a disgruntled boat yard / marina worker going nuts….. “In-Sand-Ity” ?

Walter.......If you can free up the plumbing in my house....you need to come back again !!!

Brad....they say it must be the glue on the stamps ...that make them go postal.

Ahh, now I know why they now make the new stamps and envelops with peel offs. Not as much licking. But what are we going to do about boat yard workers and the very potent bottom paint. Especially that 2 year ablative stuff. [:-hypnotized]

Walter,
Plumbing serivce call at my house too.... 3 year stoppage ... Good luck !!!!

I bought my boat from Kydds a few years ago. Real class acts. All dealerships should treat their customers the way Kydds does.
