Safe place to jetski while towing a tube

My daughter wants to take out some friends on the boat on Sunday. We will be rafting up with another boat and will be bringing the jet ski.

She wants to bring the tube and tow it around with the jet ski. My question is: Where would be a safe place where we could raft up and she could play? Ideally I would like to see what she is doing from my boat and would like a big open area with little traffic.

Walter, a good spot for that is near the bridge on the south side of the bay. I usually anchor to the west of the bridge, it's out of traffic areas and deep enough water to not have to worry. I've seen people tubing a reasonable distance away from the anchored boats, they can be within sight but far enough to not bother anyone.

The downside of that spot is it isn't really protected, with the wind out of the south it's pretty calm and not much in the way of wakes, but with the boats actually rafted together you'll have to be careful and use plenty of fenders so you don't bang together as sometimes you'll still feel wakes that traveled a long distance.

Walter - If you are in Hemlock, your daughter can go across the channel through the marsh grass (there is a wide, protected, 2-3' deep cut immediately to the east of the entrance to hemlock)to the flats. You could sit on your bridge and watch her with binoculars. That entire area is about 3 feet deep, sandy bottom, and in a westerly/SW breeze, the chop is very small, due to it being the "upwind" shore. Very few boats that go through there as well. My son takes his dinghy in there all the time, lots of little channels to play in, very protected.
