Sales and Use Tax Audit

John is not there during the season, most likely they were there in 2005, we all know how quickly the goverment works. :)

Sales tax in nassau and suffolk is 8.625%

Back in 2004 when I bought my boat it was 8.75% or thats what the dealer charged. I bought it in Nassau.

What number you have for your case, mine begins with 070901, which I bet is a date, 9/1/07.

I am mailing my reply to them today.

Walter......I think Dave was asking about my buddy John ( who bought my old S/R 280DA ) in B6 ???? He's been there for about 5 years in the same slip.

Mine starts with the same, and you are correct, sales tax in 2004 was 8.75% it is 8.625% now.
