Greetings, I am starting to do some planning for our first trip. Last season was our first (bought the boat in July); and this season we wanted to start the season off with a trip Memorial Day Weekend. There will be two boats both 30ish feet; and we plan to cruise at about 18-20 knots (the slower of the two is a Sea Ray 310 Sundancer with vdrives). We would like to spend the night at Marinas; with power, water and showers. We are not looking to "rock and roll" (from boat traffic) all night.
I would love your insight on how you would plan this trip? We are able to leve Friday AM and would like to be back Monday PM we would like to travel at least as far as West Point, but can go further if desired we are looking to run between 4-5 hours a day max.
