1982 Carver 3007 Aft Cabin with Raritan PHEII and Lectra San EC (recently rebuilt), Typical hose layout; runs from head thru vented loop to Lectra San to thru hull, all 1 1/2"Ø. Raw(salt)water flush.
I am replacing all three pieces of the hose and Sheilds Poly X seems to be the best choice but I only need about 12 feet and I can't find a supplier willing to sell less than 50 feet.
What would be a good second choice?
thanks!

most local stores will sell cut to lenght hose

Either what pdecat said, or buy the whole 50 foot roll, use what you need, then advertise the rest of the roll for sale here on the Forum. You'll find plenty of takers.

Thanks guys,
I assume by your comments you feel the Poly X is about the best hose on the market today for the use intended.
The write-up makes it sound like the hose just slips easily onto the barb fittings without a single cuss word, skinned knuckle or heat gun to soften/deform the end of the hose.
I will check with local marine supply stores next time I go to the boat.

why I'll bet it just installs itself.
