Sassafras to Chester

Need some advice. Have boated on the Sassafras for years but this year will be moving to the Chester. Most likely moving the boat (31 Formula pc) this weekend. Do I need to go around Eastern Neck Island or is there enough water to go through somewhere before going around? Any other suggestions? Would prefer first trip of the year not to be a bust. Thanks.

Rich, I agree with Sal. There is a course thru the back side of the island that I know has been done by friends with a 28' boat but we never chanced it with either our 32' or 38'. Which day are you moving it? I may be available if you need a hand.

I came very close to calling you and asking if you wanted to take it. As of now plan is to try tomorrow afternoon? Any interest?
 
Moved the boat yesterday. A bit sloppy in the bay but no problems. 2.5 hours slip-to-slip.
