Yes if you are watching a channel lets say on an HD channel, and someone else wanted to watch a channel that is on a different satellite the dish would move to that satellite. It work on the last data request. There is a set up on the SeaKing to program one of the receivers as a main which would over ride any other sat receiver from having the sat dish move due to channel change that is located on another satellite.
Also no cable wrap on SeaKing 1500HD or 9815rj. No cable wrap on KVH M3 ST and DX and above. Not sure on the M2. That is used at the dock or anchored.
