SCANNING ECM FOR INFO

I know this was asked in the past, but is scanning the engines ecm done by surveyors now? There is great info as to how the boat was run, hours,if it ever overheated, etc. in the computer, and I think it would be a useful tool for surveyors to use.

Your right. I use a marine scanner and the information on later model vessels is very helpful.
