Today I installed a SeaEra electric toilet model #160MF012. The installation went smoothly but for some reason it will not flush. I push the button and the macerator runs but no water comes into the bowl. I have water supply (pressurized fresh water system) and have power or the macerator would not work and it does. Any ideas?

Did you join the two wires from the solenoid valve to the two motor wires? Is water supply turned on and up to pressure?

Vic thanks for the quick response. I thought about this all night long and went over the wiring diagram and my installation in my head. Since I had power to the macerator I knew it had to be a connection to the solenoid valve. Sure enough the ground wire was not securely fastened. Reworked that connection and rechecked all the other connections and the plumbing. Turned on the power and presto! All works as advertised. Love the new set up as it replaced a Jabsco manual head. Great product the SeaEra and not very noisy at all. The only thing I might suggest is making the wiring diagrams a little larger in the manual. I refuse to admit I need bifocals!!!! Thanks again for the quick response.

Jeff, I took a quick look at the SeaEra manual and the wiring diagrams, particularly the connections to the push button switch are not real clearly defined. I'll make mention of it to our Marketing Dept. before the next printing of the manual.

I'm glad you're happy with the head, enjoy the big weekend coming up, and be sure to give it a real workout! [:-bonc01] [:-bonc01]
