Well, the Pro-Line I was looking at fell through. I'm now looking at a 2007 Sea Fox 216 CC with 150 Suzuki 4 Stroke.

I know very little of Sea Fox or Suzuki and was hoping to get some quick opinions as the guy needs an answer tomorrow. Any body have any opinions of these boats?

I think I can get the boat with trailer and all warranty transferred for about $25 to $27K. Fit and finish didn't look as great as some others, but please let me know.

I read on Sea Fox web that they give a lifetime warranty on the hull which I think turns into a 10 year warranty to a new buyer.

Thanks

John

I had a 2001 257 center console. It is not a top of the line boat, that's for sure. That said, I don't think I've ever owned a boat that we had more fun with, or used as often. Fit and finish was sub-par, wiring was a mess, screws came loose and backed out regularly. But the motor (250 Johnson Ocean Pro), steering systems, trim tabs, lights, controls etc are the same stuff as boats that cost 3 times as much. I got sick of looking at used boats that were "mint, perfect, beautiful, slightly used" etc. and decided to buy new. I sold it 3 years later for $2,00 less then I paid for it so I did all right. We went to a different style boat that was not for us, I wish I still had my old Sea Fox.

I have a 2000 17' cc Sea Fox. Not as fancy as some of the others but not as expensive either. IMO it's a great little boat and it's done everything I've asked. Only repairs I've ever had to do was straighten a prop (not the boat's fault).
