I awakened Annabo on Sunday, took off the winter cover, gave her a quick bath and started up the engine. Shoulda done it on Saturday so I could have taken her out on Sunday, but alas, the weatherman was wrong again. They said it was going to be cold and raining, but it was a beautiful day in the Philly area!
I was a little worried this spring that I'd have problems, since I didn't add antifreeze to the block as I usually do in the fall. I just drained the block, and then left a 100 watt light bulb in the engine compartment all winter. I also need to change the oil and drive lube, as I didn't get a chance to do it in the fall either.
In any case, the engine fired right up, and I saw no signs of any cracks or leaks. YEA!
Now I just need to wait for a nice Saturday or Sunday to get her out on the water for the first time this year!
