Hi All
Was out at anchor and heard a noise in the cabin,traced it to the shower drain,turned battery switch to off and noise stopped,turned battery switch back on and noise came back,ran shower water into drain,stopped water flow and got it to turn off,why would it start to run with no water going into shower drain?
Next day got to boat turned power on and after a while of just sitting at dock the sump pump started to run on its own again,got it to turn off using the same method.
The boat is a 03 Chaparral 240 Cruiser,
Next question is how do you get to the shower sump pump?
