Yesterday was quite a mess on the river. The wind was whipping up some nice white caps. Enough so that our anchor pulled loose and we started drifting. We actually saw a guy in the water drifting pretty far from his boat so we circled around waiting to see if he needed help, but he made the difficult swim back to a raft they had out. He must have been exhausted.

After my last docking episode with wind I was psyching myself out. Luckily my dock neighbor came by to help out and gave me some confidence back. Thanks Hank!

According to Accuweather, the wind was only 5 - 6 MPH!!! We spent the day in Bowline, had no problems with the anchors.

Helped a boat out that could not get the anchor out, they were drifting towards rocks so we told them to cut the anchor so the did, can always get a new anchor.

How were they drifting if the anchor was set? Sorry, not following you.

Glad we were in Bowline. All I can say is....

SWEET CAROLINE... SO GOOD...SO GOOD... SO GOOD!!!

Another great weekend.

They were backing up to try to get anchor out and not looking behind them, we all starting yelling because they were almost on the rocks plus they were getting tossed around due to the rough water. They were anchored in a bad spot plus 70' of water.

Where on the river were they anchored in 70' of water?
