Quit bitching.

a. You have a window.

b. It could be snowing inside.

It's our fault. Yesterday we left for the winter and we're leaving Md. now for Charleston.

Get back here and take your snow with you Dan!

Hey we took quite a bit with us. We rented a Ford Explorer and it was packed in the head rests from floor to ceiling. We spent the night on the boat last night but took on a hotel tonite since we need showers. Hopefully we go in Monday morning around 10am. Since we already know the Norcold is (as usual) not cold, we have some extra work to handle for the season.
Otherwise she's held up well enough. The folks at http://www.charlestoncityboatyard.com/ have been terrific.

Dan: How did you avoid any tax problems with long tern storage?

Bruce they told me as long as it was on the hard being serviced there was no issue. I also spoke with the county folks before making the decision. If I am not mistaken some areas are looking to change this so as to encourage traffic of this sort. My suggestion would be to call up the country of interest and speak with their officials.

surely not. UHG.
just trying to learn the best way to leave a boat out of my home state.

NY State's rule for registering is the following:

"the boat will be used on public waterways in NYS for 90 or more consecutive days."

If you are on the hard, I would think this rule does not apply.
