We are planning our first 'big' boating trip, 8 days. We will leave Richmond, VA on Sunday July 2nd. We will stay overnight in Deltaville then head to Solomons Island on July 3rd. Once there we plan to stay a couple of nights (July 4th, will this be possible this late?) and then we are open after that. We hear St. Michaels is nice.
We would like to hear suggestions on where to stay in Solomons (good foot access) and where to head after we leave Solomons (quick 1 hour trips would be nice). We need to be on our way back to Richmond, VA by Friday or Saturday.
