Due to a marina issue not of my doing, I need to replace my 50 Amp shore power cable which is fead via a Cablemaster unit. I will be going out to the boat later this week to measure the needed length, I'm expecting 65 to 75 feet including the run to internal connection & distance to external outlet.

Replacement Cable is available directly from Glendinning and I'm assured a perfect fit/operation. 75' is just over $800 shipped.
That being said I'm looking to see if anyone has replaced their cable from another source & how well to it work?

That is the going price for 50 amp cable with end, $10/ft. You can call Ward's Marine Electric in Ft Lauderdale, they have their own brand cable. Get a price to compare. They are the most knowledgeable in FTL.

I found a new 75' Marinco with the one end for $250 on ebay. Have as a spare until I need.

I replaced a 50amp cable on a glend a few back using 80’ of bulk cable from Ward Electric. It was the only tinned cable I could find.

The $10 a foot is a good yardstick to have & looks like what Glendinning is charging.
Thx
Since their last cable lasted 18 years I’m guessing their quality is good.
