South shore vs North shore

Not a good day to evaluate the south shore with 40 mph wind gusts. But there wasn't any boat traffic.

Walter, Walter, Walter. We've discussed this before: It's quality and original equipment, not quantity, that counts. One more for the North Shore. :)
 
I am not sure what all the fuss is over Walter's comment about the
Totally Inland Tidal Seaflow also know on the south shore at T.I.T.S.
It is really a great thing on the south shore and I love watching it move up and down with the tides.

No fuss. He said: "TITS," not "T.I.T.S." (I can't believe I'm writing this!). Geesh, you guys really have to learn to spell :) And after all, it was a Walter post! My position remains firm.

Very firm, and you've seen my position in-person already. Now for further reinforcement, you'll have to ask Andy. Let me know how this goes. BTW, regardless of North vs. South, the LICC has a great and fun sense of humor. More than I can say of some others who take the "nautical" to the exclusion of all else. One more for the South Shore :).

I have a 2860 regal and was looking at the venitan shores in Lindenhust behind a friends house. My other choice is Anchorage marina.

It currently takes me about 20 minutes to go from knutzon marina to the lighthouse ( end of channel), It's a long channel. I've also been at oyster bay on July 4th and coming back into huntinton at night and it is also just like the LIE with all of the boat traffic.
It is probally a big plus that you could stay away from other boats since the water is much deeper in the sound. I'll probally try the SS for one year and see how it is.
 
Don thats the Venice Venetian shores is area by the town beach
 
Don I'm always right plus I should know the area I grew up and still live in:)
