You may have me beat.
If all goes well I may actually paint the bottom either tomorrow or Friday. I'm going out of town for a week so nothing will get done until I return. I plan to pull the cover on or about the 7th and have the yard detail it this year then I will launch. With a little luck maybe the 2nd week of April there about. I'm not feeling I have to rush it will be what it is this year. I'm just not feeling it yet!
I went to the boat today hoping to paint but the weather didn't allow for it but I did complete the sanding prep. Took more off this years then I have in the past hoping to get a better bond. Maybe tomorrow I will be able to paint I would love to get it done before I leave for a week.
Making headway, bottom is painted shrink wrap is off canvas is repaired and installed still needs to be stretched a little.
I'm having the yard detail the boat this year with a little luck they will start tomorrow. I should be able to launch soon but not in a rush. I would like to replace my power cable it's just time I damaged the end and the cable itself is old and stiff making it hard to wind into the Glendining I think a new more flexible cable would work smoother.
I also want to redo the small section of flooring in the galley the wood is curling I will replace with vinyl so it will be water proof.
I hope to be in within a week or two the latest.
Friday is the big day!
I have completed everything needed before launch date. I do have a couple of projects I'm in the middle of. To my surprise the flooring in the galley was vinyl that was oddly installed over an actual hardwood floor. I just sanded the floor I plan to stain and varnish over the next few days.
Everyone is asking me! It's a new antenna wire that I need to run into the salon. I'm getting too old to squeeze in there, so I'm waiting for Thomas to help me.
