SPBM addition

Maybe the new channel will drum up some new business for SPBM????

I e-mailed (the one on his new card) the new Vice President Of Operations at SPBM about the markers. Came back no such E mail.

Question:
If the markers in the SPBM channel were postioned be a SPBM personal, which they were, and someone stays within them hits something or has a grounding, and does damage, than isnt the marina responsible if they positioned them? Mike? I would think SPBM would correct it ASAP?

Maybe I'll give Dave a call. I believe he's still the manager. What's the difference between the manager and VP of Operations?

They absolutely have some responsibility. THEY put the markers in the wrong place, YOU followed their markers and stuck a pot (that in reality was outside of the channel). I would point this out to mgmt and request that they waive the haul fee.

I was amazed at how far off the buoys are, when I pulled out of there on Saturday

Thank You Mike,
Sorry we missed staying with you guys last weekend.
Please thank your son for the boat ride, Thomas had a supper ride, he said he was airborn and said your boat goes 60MPH. He now doesn't want our CC. Thanks, Looking foward to a great summer with all. Next time were together, drinks on on me!

Wayne,
Next time your down, make sure you stay to have a drink.

I will Bob, I wanted to get a lot of work done, my loss, should have stayed and told Dina to come down

Wayne, glad to hear Thomas had fun, I'm sure he and Tim will be racing this summer!

I'll be sure to take you up on a drink!

I agree Hogan. It's not like there was extensive damage that cost money to fix. They hauled me. I didn't go someplace else and send them the bill. This is purely a good will gesture. I actually assumed that there was no charge. They fixed it and put it back in the water and said good bye. They didn't ask me to pay. I just got a bill in the mail.

I agree about the markers I thought they would have been fixed by now, but if they were still in the same locations I would guestion the marina and they should waive the fee of the haul.

I guess I will need to get the GPS coordinates of the "Real" channel from someone.

FYI: Talked to the marina this morning (for other reasons besides the topics in this thread) and was informed that the VP of Operations (Reggie) is no longer with SPBM... I guess those were the big changes... A change of scenery.. LOL

Boating Rob
See Pocket Change on G dock and I will give you the coordinates for the SPBM channel. They are right in the middle of the two outermost bueys from years ago when they were placed correctly. I aim for that spot going out and go between the green bueys and hit it on the way in then head straight in between the green bueys.

I guess that's what they mean by "addition by subtraction"
