Been to the SP restaurant many times and I can't say I've ever smelled sewerage. Never noticed cobwebs either except at the Halloween party.

I'm sure, you can ask Bob, he was there with us. The septic tank to the left of the entrance ramp was overflowing.

Look up in all the corners, it wasn't Halloween decorations.

On a positive note, unlike Haverstraw, the were able to cook my hamburger to the correct degree on the first try!

Hopefully that was an isolated case but hey you never know.

We always had pretty good food at the Flying Goose, but I'm sure that it was attributated more to the chef than the "former wife of the recent owner". Also as far as we observed they also were a very bar friendly establishment, so I'm not sure what changes they could bring.

The first few times we went there the food/service was excellent, really enjoyed it.

We kept trying to get the Winters Remedy "crew" to come with us. They were reluctant having had less than positive experiences there in the past. They finally relented, twice in fact and each time the food/service was HORRIBLE.

We never looked back...

I have to say I went to SPBM restaurant alot last season, on Fridays and alot of times for Sunday breakfast and it was always good food, Brian did a good job and was always happy to see you, I just hope the new owners do the same. Before Brian we had a couple of people who tried to make a go and it was bad food, no one went there.

At the end of the year they did have a sewage problem but that was the only time. I think it was from not pumping the tank and having a large party. The food however has been good, some dishes were expensive but I just did not order them. If there was a problem, Brian would correct it. Our family supported the Bar and resturant. Now my kids are going to miss Sue the bartender. They always had fun there.
