I have a small patch of spider cracks below the water line on the transom to my boat. They seem to be cracks of the gel coat -- not real deep. The area of the cracks are about 4-5" in diameter and was wondering if there is a product I can use to "fill-in" the cracks to prevent further spread, etc? Because the cracks are below water, it doesn't have to look pretty, but be effective.

Thank you!

If it was anywhere else, my advise would be to just watch it. But since you have an I/O, I suggest You need a fiberglass repairman to inspect your transom to make sure it's not rotting from the insode out. He may drill a sample hole and then fill it.

Thanks but the boat was surveyed last season and the surveyor noted the cracks and tested the moisture level of the transom which came up dry. The cracks are surface cracking of the gel coat and I'm looking for a method to abate further spread.
