Here's some almost inside info about Spindrift restaurant.

Every Wednesday is Dollar Taco Day. Excellent tacos $1 each. Rice: $1. Beans: $1. Don't forget the Corona to wash it down.

Steak and Eggs breakfast on weekends. I believe this gets served until noon. $4.99

These specials have been in effect at Spindrift restaurant for quite a while now. Nice deals in addition to the fine dinner and bar fare.

I was at Spinny for the Lighted Boat Parade awards ceremony. When I was leaving the delta in the morning, it was too foggy to be on 12, so I ducked in for coffee and toast as they were opening. The guy at the bar talked me into the steak and eggs upgrade. Although not my top choice for breakfast, it was a wonderful meal. As an added attraction, there was an upside down SUV under the deck. Apparently the driver had been disoriented in the early morning fog, but was able to crawl out without injury. It reminds you what a rugged wild place the delta is for us domesticated animals.

Now, if they could just make that wifi free...

Then you would FindMe guzzling coffee and stroking the keys every morning 'till the fog clears.

I'd rather be on my boat then in a car when it is foggy! Fewer idiots around. 99% of those on the water are being very careful and following the Rules of the Road. And my GPS helps me stay on track.
