The dredging of the entrance to Still Pond Creek was completed in April. I just launched but haven't passed through the cut yet however a neighbor did last week. He said his depth finder found it is now a very wide channel entering, all through and exiting the cut however another dock just inside was extended but does not interfere with the marked channel. All in all it will making entering and exiting Still Pond Creek much easier but probably screwed up the fishing there.

The taxpayers that live there have probably wanted/needed that dredged for how long? Ironic that since that USCG station went back in service it finally gets dredged. Sadly, now you'll have an even more crowded anchorage! The worst consequence is now the local knowledge of "hug the tree on the right" will not be needed. 
Well, this taxpayer living there isn't pleased because, as you state, the creek may get busier. Plus, there was decent fishing for rockfish in the holes around the old channel; I doubt that will be the fact any longer.
