After the condo's are built and bought, SPBM will have enough additional funds to buy Clorox for the pool by the drum instead in gallons, right ?
Even if HM raised their rates which they didn't for 2015, lets take a look at what they have to offer................ O that's right WATER.

It's metered electric I actually pay less for electric then I used to pay at SPBM.
While I agree there is a bit of a walk to my boat I enjoy my area of the dock and it is well worth the walk! Being near the end of the dock it is like living on a cul-de-sac the only people walking past my boat are my friends and neighbors.
Oh and did I mention deep water

No such thing as daily rate after 10/15. This is made up. Not all the parking lot is filled with drunks, at list not where I park!!!

Please don't summer at HM with all the negative comments. If they don't fill the slips my rate will go down.

Wayne you might me on to something we have been telling everyone how great Haverstraw is and driving the prices up! Maybe what we should be doing is pointing out the negatives and driving the price down interesting! They used to give us a discount for referrals and now this too is gone.

Yes HM sucks, Always people on the boats around me, always find the same people where ever i go as well. Its really terrible, these people always try to grab my lines when i dock the boat..what a nightmare. Also this other guy always makes me coffee, one guy and his admiral washed my boat with out my permission when i had infection in my foot. What the hell!!! Some of the other boaters invited me for a last minute BBQ on Sunday. i think i will go back to the other side of the river, this is too much!

HM has always had a per foot discount if you pay your bill in full before x date. Nothing new with that.
What I find assuming about this thread is how some of the posters said the same things about the marina they were in previously. I guess the only GOOD marina is the one they chose to be in.
For, us we will always look fondly on the good times at each of the marinas we have been in over the years. Each had their pros and cons but we still had great times.
There are some we would never go back to, others we can't due to draft/size issues and some we may go back to as our lifestyle needs change.
OK back to the my dick er marina is bigger than yours....
