Stripers in Franks Tract!

Yup, the stripers are running into the Delta. Friends of mine bait fished in Franks Tract Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The caught fish between 12-15 lbs each day!

Saturday night the bait fish were jumping all over the water at my slip on Piper Slough. Sunday, my slip neighbor caught an 18 incher right at our dock.

Let's go fishin!

Also, most of the weed which would mess up your line and hid your bait seems to be gone. This will really improve the action! Dept of Boats and Waterways really did a great job of cleaning up Franks Tract and the sloughs surrounding it. Thanks Paul!

Flutterby, I think you mean "stripers", not "strippers".

I think the strippers are still congregating around the Broadway & Columbus Shoal in SF, with some additional action in O'Farrel Slough....

You don't need to go all the way into the city for them. There are schools of them at Lost Isle, but as the weather gets colder, they'll be moving on.
