I'm still on the water, but staying the night at Oxbow marina with my friends who have their sailboat, Ardea, for protection from the gusting wind conditions, so I have internet available to join in on the update.
I had a great time at the Sat-Sun rendezvous. It was great seeing Dave & Daniel and Dennis & Mary again. Friends of Daves came with their daughters and my friends came with two young women, so Daniel had four lovely ladies his age to share the time with. Lucky guy!! No wonder he disappeared for an hour on dad's dingy with one of the lovelies. The apple didn't fall too far from the tree!!
Friends of mine came with their 37 Tartan sailboat and others with their Malibu wakeboard boat. I believe all told, we had 17 folks and six boats out there on Sat.
To those who couldn't make it, you were missed. Mildred Island was a great place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Plenty of great water for the water skiers. Good anchorage with solid hook sets. Great place and great folks!
Here are a few pics of the Mildred stay, with a couple added from the following day with an amazingly beautiful delta sunset. Hope to see many more out there next time.

PS. I just returned to the boat after meeting Chris and his wife, Yvonne, from the BE site with the 4800 Navigator out of Pier 39. As I'm walking by admiring his beautiful vessel, I said hi and he said he thought he knew me as a BE RO! What a small world! We had a great visit and I'm sure we'll be seeing more of each other tomorrow.
