That will be a great trip...
We took a two week trip last year and did Greenport, Newport and Block. Along with Battleship Cove, Coecles Harbor, Sandwich, Provincetown, Onset Bay, and probably somewhere I am forgetting. It was a great trip, we didn't get to Essex, but we are going to Montauk this year for a weekend trip. Our big trip this year will be down to the Chesapeake.

Camera Obscura in Greenport:
Taylor Island on Coecles Harbor, this house is open to the public. The owner died and wanted the public to be able to use it.
Our raftup for the night
Then off to Battleship Cove, moored right next to the Battleship
After touring all the ships we moved on to Newport.
Ghost Tour
Filled the tanks. Casey's Oil is the way to go in Newport.
Toured the mansions
Walked the streets
Then, underway again, headed to P-Town
Took the boat out to Stellwagen Bank to do some Whale Watching. This was incredible. The pictures do not do this justice. If you are ever in the area, you need to check it out.
The kids got to see some interesting people...
On the way back home we stopped in Sandwich, Onset Bay, then Block. We did some clamming, while the kids waited patiently.

My club is planning its summer cruise to either Montauk or AC. If Montauk, we'll shoot for a mooring at Block for a few extra days. If AC, down Thursday back Sunday.

Hogan is that you on the Pink bike? Sounds like a great trip I don't know that I can take two weeks this year if I can you pretty much pegged second my trip, if not then next year. I'm still planning to head to Lake Champlain this year and a few weekend get a ways like Channel Club and the likes.
