Saint Max is going up for sale. The issue at hand is survey value v. market value. Does anybody know of a surveyor who takes current market values into consideration in the central Virginia area.

Need help ASAP.

David thats a tuff one!

A surveyor can only use the available information out there to evaluate the current fair market value. Documentation is the key! Research any and all resources. If you need any help from me, please always feel free to give a call.

In this market trying to determine a true value is really hard.
Is the seller holding firm with an anxious buyer or the buyer is desperate to sell right now? Big difference in the value between these two sales of the same boat. Gas has gone down so much of the gas price reason to unload is softer on the prices. Still, it's a buyers market kinda always has been. Spot cash talks loudly.

David,
I just sold my 1996 250 Sundancer, I got about what I was asking. In fact it brought above average of what they are posted for on Boat Trader and also Yacht World. I actually sold it on Craigslist. Everyone talks about how cheap boats are, go look at the cheapies and you will be shocked at what some people call clean, pristine, like new & etc., I am convinced the really clean ones will still bring decent money. I will venture a guess you can get close to what you gave for it.
good luck.
