I am interested in finding out what exactly is it that a marine surveyor should be inspecting. Is he/she supposed to cover EVERYTHING from cosmetics to mechanical to structural? Also, is there a standard type report or form that I should be getting at the conclusion of the survey? I just want to make sure that I am getting what should be the standard in marine surveys.
