Surveyor in Chicagoland?

Any recommendations for a surveyor around the Chicago area?

No surveyors in Chicago that anyone would recommend? Looks like I will be spending money for some driving or flying time.

Check the SAMS lists at www.marinesurvey.org/ Take the list to Crowley's if they are not involved in your transaction and ask them to recommend two.

I would be willing to fly there. What type vessel are you considering?

I was looking at the SAM's list and have found a couple Surveyors in Chicago. I thought someone in the area might recommend someone. I really don't want to pay for airfare or mileage when there must be some good surveyors in the Chicago area to look at a boat right there.
I have a couple that I know of but they are located over by Cleveland and Detroit, long ways away from Chicago.
