Any HRCC boaters still around? This forum has been pretty much dead lately.

We have been in a couple of weeks, took a ride, fueled up, stayed overnight 4 times, inflated dink and took it for a spin.

Anyone else boating yet?

As soon as the ice thaws I plan on taking a cruise. In LA this week. When is our first raft up?

Little boat needs some gel coat work, been too cold to do that.
Big boat still wrapped. Very sad!

I have been in over a month and haven't left the dock as of yet, maybe this weekend. The weather is not looking good yet again but I plan to been on the boat anyway!

I finally launched last Sunday! Good to be back on the water!

This weekend looks fantastic! We are planning on heading over to Croton tomorrow, around noon. Hope to be on the hook until Monday.

Croton Friday and Saturday, Bowline Sunday and Monday

I have Pool Saturday, Beach and Pool on Sunday, and Beach again on Monday.

There was a single boat at Croton this morning, I assume they were anchored all night.

That was us. Two others also stayed overnight. We stayed again last night. Croton not too crowded on Saturday.

If was a pleasure rafting up I think all of the dogs had a good time as well!
I plan to hit Bowline today but with the storm coming I don't plan to spend the night on board tonight.
I'm glad I was finally about to leave the dock and docking without a wind storm was much easier then I remembered.

This past weekend was another gorgeous time to be out on the hook. We anchored in Croton Saturday morning, and stayed out overnight and most of Sunday.

The weather could no have been better! The water was clear, but a bit brisk. Our dog swam for six hours yesterday, he was exhausted at night.

Croton was no where near as crowded as it was in the "old days". I guess a lot of people have given up boating.

Spent Sunday night enjoying the evening back at the resort.

We had a two day soccer tournament this weekend. After a stressful couple of days, I insisted we go for a boat ride and my girls wanted to use the new paddle board. We took the CC over to the point and tied up with a friend from 7-9pm. As we anchored there were two boats near the beach area of CPP.
One was a go-fast, he pulled anchor and hit full throttle throwing wake right there where we anchor. The remaining boat had Spanish music blasting and two jetskiers doing donuts in the anchorage. Someone must have called the westchester marine patrol, cause they showed up! Yay the calvary arrived!

As the marine patrol boat approached with lights on, they turn music up! Once the police were alongside, they lowered the music and had a chat, I saw paper work being shown,,,,then they shook hands, had a few laughs and the music went back up to super loud and the marine patrol left.

Wow, was that a major disappointment. I'm assuming the guys on the offending boat were off-duty....no other reasonable explanation.

I sure hope they aren't there every weekend.

So Haverstraw isn't the only resort on the Hudson?
