I recently purchased a 97 355 Aft Cabin Carver that was set up for lake use. All drains go to a sump box, then pumped to the holding tank. The only way to empty the tank is to have it pumped out. I want to add a discharge port so that I can attach a 3/4" freshwater pump and pump out the tank at my convienance. My previous boat had a 3/4" threaded plug that I was able to tap into, but there is nothing on this tank except the 1 1/2" discharge hose already attached. There is no way I can reach into the tank Through the top to put a backing nut on the back side of a fitting. Is there a fitting out there that is somewhat self tapping so I get a good seal? Thanks for the help.
