TGIF

Have fun on your Trip. I hear Mud Slides at Block are $10.00 now. That sucks..Can't wait to see what they will be next year.

Is there any other way to have them.....

The Chesapeake was farther to get to for our trip this year, however everything was more affordable.

In the end, the trip to the Chesapeake cost just as much as the trip out east.

Hogan the additional fuel it took for you to get there probable but your trip over the top.

Bob I had a mudslide in Montauk the other night it just wasn't the same. ?y wife can't wait for the real thing when we get there.

The weather today really sucks as far as rain however the water is dead calm. We are about to head over to fuel up then get underway.

ok, I've got to ask whatsa mudslide.. And 5.00 bucks a foot, we go nutz over 2.00 a foot..Dave that makes that new swim platform worth about 15 a night..

Hey Dave, Sorry we missed eachother in Montauk. Enjoy the rest of your cruise...

The ride to Block was calm and peacefull I've already had two mudslides and they are much better here.(it's a froozen drink)
We got a foating dock right near the bar in fact only two slips away.

Blackdog we will have to meet up on the river soon.

A mudslide is vodka, kahlua and baileys blended with ice. They add a butterscotch shooter down the straw to top it off.

We went over to Croton for a few hours this afternoon to entertain our friends who are in from Canada, then took a leisurely ride up the Hudson to Torches for dinner. The weather was humid, but perfect, dinner was great, ride home was nice - only took one hour at cruise.

Dave,

Hope the trip is going good. I am back in port. When do you plan on Norwalk Cove? I will be in Oyster or Lylods this weekend. You can use one of the morring if you wish to hang in one of the coves at Lylods.

Michael

Mike we were thinking we would spend one night in Norwalk just to cut the trip in half this would be Saturday, but I will consider your offer. Can two boat raft on one morning?
I'll give you a call after I talk with my friends. Thank you I do appreciate it.

Yes, 1,000lb mooring outside of Huntington Harbor, you can dink into huntington harbor and dine at Prime or an Italian rest, I forget the name of the Italian Rest on main street.

How's the trip Dave? We're out in Moriches today. Kinda rough coming out last night. We went into Rockaway so it forever to get to Zach's Bay for the night.

When are you guys home?

Well another vacation has come and gone in what seemed like only minutes. We had a great time met lots of nice people and eat and drank like pigs.

I'll try to post a few pictures when I get a chance.

I would like to thank Risingsun for the very generous hospitality. We really enjoyed your marina it was a great last night. Sadly all good things must come to an end and now I must return to the real world and go back to work in the morning.

I hope to some day be fortunate enough to be able to continue to enjoy boating when I retire. I can only try to imagine what life would be like with no other responsibilities but to relax and enjoy. I know many of you on this site are at this point now, and God bless you, you are very lucky people.

The problem with vacations is that they always end too soon!

I'm sorry we missed Block this year - we'll be back in 2011.
