Hi,
I just want thank everyone who came out on Saturday night...Warren, Erica, Frank, Sharon, Matt and your family and Butch(hope you are feeling better)...You all make us feel like the rock stars we've always wanted to be. You guys are the best!
Anyway, I want to apologize to Mike for the grief he's recieved here...I won't promote anything here anymore, even though you can just come see us for free. We are easy enough to find. Send me an email if you want to be on the mailing list.
Ok then, hope everyone had a great holiday and look forward to seeing you on The Mighty Hudson
Randall

Randy,
Come on, this is nothing like the old AT&T days working with you and the knuckle heads we had to deal with.

Here is your first boat question. Your answer will be considered as (input) to this forum.
What is the best tool to use when running data or electric cabling inside my boat. I need to go through my engine room to my cabin.

Randy,
It was good seeing you again. Always a pleasure, now get the dang boat in and time for a cold one or 2 or 3......

Bob, I would use the "data or electric cabling tool" to get the job done.

A snake of course, just make sure its not alive.......

or on second thought we could make a new movie, Snakes on a boat, after all they did it with snakes on a plane....

Come on guys,
This was a shoe in for Randy.... I wanted to see him answer. That was an inside joke, Randy was the Account Manager and Supervisor for a company who handled all my Network cabling at AT&T years ago. His team was the best at installing and testing fiber and cable for my group. Heck he built the backbone for our Data OPS center. He is good people...

So wait....technically, he did contribute to this forum..... He provided an outlet for all of you to get together and discuss the upcomming boating season..

Way to Go Randy!!!!!!

Just having fun!!

Bob,
Thanks for your kind words, hope you and Eileen and all your kids(probably 6 by now) are doing great. I miss the old days, life was good, great memories. I have the answer to your question...Call the guy with the tools and the talent(201-400-8737, me) I would be happy to help you out, but I am a very, very, thirsty man.
Butch, I would love to be floating...what's the secret??? I guess length does matter!!!
See you all soon,
Randall

Bob, I think Randy's answer out did ours. Even an offer for cheap labor...Way to go Randy....Now as far as size counting, trust me it dont!!!!!
Its how you drive it....But the big boat does get some attention....

Butch,

I would have to agree with you. I still cannot believe you guys are in the water. I have at least 2 weeks left. My motor and New V-drive should be in tomorrow ( in the boat that is). I have been working on the boat.

I rewired some cables and lines.
Wire tied all loose ends.
Installed 2 new fume sensors and wires in the engine room.
Install wire covers over all existing wires.
Installed a new stainless steel water heater.
Tuned up both engines
Had my son Ethan remove old wires in between the gunnel.
Changed some hoses.
The yard installed new cutlass bearings and repacked my shafts.
I made my bimini top.
I have 4 of 7 cushions completed with Ultra leather.

Dang It will be like having a new boat!!!

With this weather Bob its almost wiser to stay on land...Weather hasn't been that good to get out and enjoy it...We did get one ride on it the first day it was in, but then to it was 70 degrees out. Hopefully the weather will take a turn for the better soon. We did get to spend our 1st night on the boat.
