Just wanted to thank the gang at PennyBridge and especially Butch and his family for all the help and hospitality we were blessed with when we were SeaTowed into their home just after midnight Sunday morning.
From helping tie us up to the dock and being the first of many friendly faces (Thanks Butch's son Dan and friend), to breakfast and much needed COFFEE in the A.M., a mechanical look see, a ride to the store, and the reminder that fluke is good eating. After working on a fluke/flounder charter I thought I'd eaten my last of either fish. You have one heck of a nice family there, Caryl and Butch.
Thanks to you, Mike, for allowing us to escape the gate : ). Thanks to all. A good bunch you are.

Honora, you won't meet a friendlier bunch than the PennyBridge people. Nice to meet you, too - always good to put a face to a name. Hope Steve and the crew get you going soon, you are in good hands with them.

Now what's all this about fluke, Butch didn't give me any....

Mike, Butch heard you ran out of of beer so why waste the fish? ;)

You took the words right out of my mouth John. What good is Fluke without a cold beer or 3.

Honora, Mike said it all, we have a great bunch at penny bridge and glad we could help out and make the break down easier for you. It was really great meeting you and Karen and hope to meet again with better conditions out there on the water.

It looks like the gods of time, tide and weather will finally smile on us tomorrow. We're taking the ferry from Ossining to Haverstraw to get the boat back on the river. TYJ!!!

I was beginning to wonder if you had abandonned it!

Just ask the ferry to drop you off at Pennybridge...slip him a cool $5 and he'll be happy to.

What time ferry are you taking? I took it in today and will be catching the 4:46PM ferry if you need a ride.

Thanks Mike. We're back in Yonkers. Took the 9:08 ferry from Ossining and was on the water by 10 a.m. Getting some lunch, checking on Sage and going back out if the chop quits a bit.
Chris--I slipped the cabbie a warm 5 and 4 singles...
