So the turkey is in the oven 1/2 and hour. The power goes out! So I called up the others involved and before I knew it the power was back on. The Hope Town Marina has a stand by generator that drives all the docks!!! This is a first in 25 years of boating and it happened in the Bahamas!

Thank you Hope Town Marina!

In Hope Town where do you go shopping on Black Friday? :)

I'm still recovering from their "bad" power last year :-)

But seriously, that's awesome. Power in that part of the Abacos is way too unpredictable.

Yes, sir. That's the one. It's been 6 years since I last guzzled one there, but hope to correct that soon.

That is quite a while to abstain from the "Blaster". We were thinking of heading down there early in Dec. but given the current forecast North Bar looks like it will be a train wreck in motion and Freedom doesn't do those well :D.
The only way to do that place is to go by boat and pick up a mooring ball so you can sleep it off.

We stayed in Cherokee Village the week of Christmas; the weather was perfect, but we didn't do any boating at all, except for the ferry ride to Hope Town...

Next time...
